The flat is located in the centre of Edinburgh, off the Royal Mile, directly above the festival office. It's around 100 metres from the Mercat Cross - which marks the centre of the City. The castle is about a five minute stroll away at the western end of the Royal Mile, with Holyrood Palace at the eastern, seaward end. The flat is only five minutes walk from the main Waverley rail Station.
